Dude working the counter was sketchy as hell and tried to steal the $50 bill I laid on the counter. He kept trying to gaslight me saying maybe I dropped it. I looked down on the floor like he kept insisting I do after I told him that no, I placed it right on the counter and all the sudden he’s magically sliding a $50 bill from under the register!!

This was after he kept making really weird small talk over and over and each time I tried to insinuate I wanted to just pay and leave he’d start a new conversation. I feel like he was trying to distract me hoping I’d forgot about the cash.

I was getting a little annoyed so I put my card in the slot and he starts talking even more like “Oh do you know Ashley” and I’m like “……Do we share a last name or something?” And he goes oh no she just comes here and buys this same pack of drinks.

Like what???? There’s definitely something weird about this place or maybe it’s just the guy running the counter. I also noticed half the shelves didn’t have pricing. I paid $86 for liquor I usually get for around $60 and he didn’t provide a receipt so I have no idea what I overpaid for. This place feels scammy.
